# Basic Configuration

### Global Server Configs

* Go to the [dashboard](https://dashboard.empymanager.com/guilds)
* Click your server in the list and click *Edit Settings* under *General Settings*.
* Change what you want, like:

### Master Channel Configs

The first thing to have temporary channels is to create a **Master Channel**:

* Type `/setup` in your server
* Or go to the [dashboard](https://dashboard.empymanager.com/guilds), select your server and create your Master Channel there

To edit your Master Channel:

* Go to the [dashboard](https://dashboard.empymanager.com/guilds)
* Click your server in the list and select your *Master Channel* in the main page.
* Change what you want, like:
